1- We can use the present simple to talk about something
that is regular or permanent situations.

2- We can use the present simple to talk about general
truth.

3- We can use the present simple to talk about personal
characteristics.

For example: I'm a singer.

For example: They're nice people.

For example: Are you from Ankara ?

For example: I like swimming.

For example: I always get up early.

For example: Where do you live?

Using Present Simple in Positive Sentences:

I play piano.

You play piano.

We play piano.

They play piano.

He plays piano.

She plays piano.

It drinks water.

Using Present Simple in Negative Sentences:

I don't play piano.

You don't play piano

We don't play piano.

They don't play piano.

He doesn't drink water.

She doesn't drink water.

It doesn't drink water.

don't = do not

doesn't = does not

Using Present Simple in Questions:

Do I drink water?

Do you drink water?

Do we drink water?

Do they drink water?

Does he drink water?

Does she drink water?

Does it drink water?

or

Don't I play piano?

Don't you play piano?

Don't we play piano?

Don't they play piano?

Doesn't he play piano?

Doesn't she play piano?

Doesn't it play piano?

Some more examples about Simple Present (or
Present Simple) Tense:

The Moon goes around the Earth.

Does she talk for a long time or a short time?

Why don't you stop complaining about how little you
earn?

I don't know how to use this camera.

Where is Jack? ( there is no auxiliary verb )
